Got a sunroof on our 1SS L99 and love it. The sunroof adds more to the car then the mohawk does in my opinion. Here are some pictures of my camaro with the sunroof from different angles.

Sunroofs are winning. I just left a Camaro gathering here in Md. There were 5 new Camaros there- All had sunroofs.
Its the only way to go in my opinion.

I bet that sunroof is also good for sucking a fart right out the car after eating a bean burrito at the local taco hut.

Oh, and to answer the question: I've never had a car that had one. I wouldn't go out of my way to get one, but I wouldn't mind one either. I am neutral towards the sunroof.

Sun roof is great; I am 6 foot and have plenty of room with the sun roof.

Thanks,

I use my sunroof all the time. The only time I even think about the reverse mohawk is when I see threads like this. And no, I don't miss it.

oh yeah, 6' tall and I no problems with headroom or visibility.

Personally, I like the reverse mohawk more. I think it adds a little more rigidity to the car and makes it look more aggressive.
Just a personal opinion though. To each his own.

Sunroof all the way--especially here in Los Angeles!....

you can pop it up during hot days while its parked to keep the interior cool and at night or dusk open it up for a cool breeze....

adds to the value...

looks cool...

answer to the outdated t-top design (without having to lug those damn panels to the trunk)...

and I cant imagine owning a car without it as my last 4-cars had one

(BTW--mohawk haircuts are awesome just for the record!)

to boot the 2SS RS Summit White I ordered has one too!

Windows down, sunroof open and the music loud. Let the light in.

love the mohawk, but love the sunroof more. Glad I added it. And at 6'2" I have a whole 1/2" to spare. Hope I don't hit any big bumps

I understand the reasons for personal preferences of sunroof or reverse mohawk.

I am about to order and am down to the final decision. I want a sunroof, but am really concerned about giving up the headroom. I plan to keep the car for 10 years or more, so I want to get this one right.

Question for those who are already driving a Camaro with a sunroof, especially if you are 5'11" or taller (like five-oh):

Does anyone regret ordering the sunroof because the headroom is too tight?

This is my only concern with the car really, other than door dings when I get it. I'm 6' and with the seat all the way down and all the way back I have enough room to slide my hand over my head while wearing a baseball cap. I'm going to have to sit in a few more before I make the final decision. Ohh well, there could be worse decisions that I have to make right.
