4 inches?

can you fit a 4inch tip in the factory gfx kit? i dont want them to stick out...just inside the port

btw...just measure my factory tips lol....i think they are 4 inches too...any info anyone???

Are you running them all the way out or recessing them inside a few inches?

I don't think 5" will fit through the GM GFX ... Just the standard round hole

I want them recessed...i have the factory body kit...i know the 5 wont fit

EDIT: (realized that you wanted the 4" tips... not the 5"ers)

I have 4" factory GFX accessory tips (the rings that came with the GFX kit, that require trimming the stock tips and installing a press-on ring). The factory GFX accessory tips are recessed and there is 3/4" of clearance (just checked) b/w the tips and the bezel. Mine have been on for over 2 yrs, 80,000 miles without problems.

the 5" would probably fit... it would be close... ~1/4 clearance.

3.5" tips are the best you can do without modifying anything. they cut the factory tips so they sit back inside otherwise they rattle against the edges.

This is mine....i went with dual tips to solve that problem....these are 3"

I actually want them to sit inside and not sit inside the bezel....i can give it a shot

I cut my factory tips off then had them weld that to the after markey exhaust
