I agree, and this was all news to me until I read this thread.

Thanks,

The HID's throw out plenty of light at night.

Either way, enjoy your new Camaro.

Here's a trick passed down by fbodfather people might like-

You can drive with your halos on instead of your DRL's if you want. Find the control knob for the lights. It's pointed to Automatic by default. Turn it one click to the left to turn off the DRL's, and when you let go it snaps back to the Auto position (which won't turn your DRL's back on or anything for this drive, they just don't want you to be able to leave your lights permanently set to Off). Now, turn the knob one more click to the right, and your halos will come on.

Those sexy, sexy halos.

That will not work with Canadian spec cars because all cars sold in Canada must have DRL's running continuously during the day. You can run the halos with the DRL's up here which is a nice look.

Thank you for posting this. I doubt you wasted anyone's time. I ordered my 2SS with the RS package so this thread just saved me some head scratching when I get mine because I don't like to read the manual either.

Well let's be perfectly honest here. When I picked up Thor for our trip to Florida, I do recall asking Ms. Piclher a question that went something like, "hey did they put the LS headlamp switch on that car? I can't turn the fog lamps on." So if I asked it can't possibly be a stupid question...........................can it???

A little help............
