best car vac?

my shoes are leaving crap all over my carpet i need a vac but i want the best one, does any one have one that they would swear by?

Can't beat a 5-6hp 16gallon shop vac from lowe's or home depot $99. Thats what I use and love it.

There are Oxy based fluids to use with these. It did wonders for the used POS Blazer that's my current project / cheap miles car.

You can rent the commercial sized cleaner at grocery or walmart. I forget what it's called but same thing just bigger.

Maybe I should just buy a big stack of those paper sheets the repair shops lay down to protect the floor mats. Perpetual new car feel.

OK, but seriously, I use a Shop Vac... Those brush attachments on other vacuums seem to tear up the carpets I've used them on.
