This replaces the wheel weights on the calipers with rollers on the pads?

Brakes are NOT a joking matter so please excuse the humor. Any mechincal brake noise requires an immediate inspection. Please get your wheel off drill as deep as removing the rear rotor to inspect the parking brake.

Once last thought, do you have after market wheels and TPM sensors. The valve stem style TMP senors have been known to 'click' against the parking brake cable.
No, I have the RS wheels. I'll take the wheel off and at a minimum remove the caliper to see if something's going on with the pads or retaining clips ASAP.

Thanks.

Turns out my rear drivers side nuts were a bit lose on my wheels. I guess that should have been the first thing I checked but I was so sure it was the brakes I didn't even bother checking those nuts initially. I meant to go back and check them again a few days after the installation but I never got around to it.

I feel lucky something bad didn't happen....

FWIW, my 2010 SS is 200,000+ VIN range with 3,000+ miles. No squeal issues.

I had the same squeak with the brakes. I put on Hawk performance ceramic pads and no more squeak.

I have noticed that taking your Camaro through a car wash will eventually wash away the lubricant on the back of your pads. A squeak is a frequency, and it's more than likely caused by these little buggers lossing the grease. I noticed it on my Corvette when I power washed the wheels on the car, squeaked like crazy. Took them off and re-lubed the brake parts -- there was nothing there they were dry -- and squeak is gone. Pretty common. I hand wash my SS and refuse to use car washes because of the high pressure water.

High-pressure washers and brakes don't always get along very well. I would advise against using them for at least this reason.
