I'd still like to do the CTS-V clampers... or Lockheeds if I could find a good price, then I guess the SS MC would be better. It sucks being poor! LOL!

Guess I'll just have to work more OT and spring for the SS MC.

Thanks for the info... I appreciate it.
Sorry, I'm still not sure what you wrote. I'm still staring at that Ducati...

CTSV calipers and rotors

Great read, a lot of work.
What is the distance, center to center of the CTSV rear caliper mounting bolts?

Exactly the same as the SS caliper.

Nothing different in the rears. Just use the ss rotors and calipers. Only thing to consider initially would be stainless lines and/or powder coat rear calipers to match the front CTS-V's 6-pistons. Have fun.

Now you can have ZL1 Brakes BEFORE the ZL1 hits the street.

I was trying to think what our set up cost from GM it was around $2100.00 for the parts on the front,I didn't do the rear as they are the same as the ctsv, our car is a 2 ss so we started with the brembo brakes and did not need to change the master cylinder,if you make the upgrade you will like it for sure.

I think PDM has it on the website for $1900 or so for the fronts.

That sounds like a good price for what you get.

The beauty of the CTS-V setup is the bias if perfect out of the box.
