I need my wheels really black! The darker the better in ashen grey metallic. How many coats of black and gloss would you guys recommend? Also if this works out well I may even do my hex vents and z/28 spoiler maybe wen diffuser this color as well!

ya i would go with at least 4 or 5 coats of black and at least 3 coats of gloss. from my experience with the gloss you really have to put it on thick. if you spray light coats like you would with the back you will only get a semi gloss out of it. the trick is to spray a light tack coat first, let it dry about 5 mins and then spray thick even coats. thick enough to where it almost looks like it will run.

Gotcha! Well I about to head out and pick up the supplies! I'll keep everyone posted! Who has the biggest selection of plastidip? And how do you peel it off tires? A butter knife or something? Or if I mess up on the wheels will along a black wash cloth and rubbing it peel up the paint?

Finished my wheels right before dark yesterday! It was my first go at using plastidip and I gotta say it came out looking pretty good! Wish it could be a little more glossy, I might hit another coat tomorrow. But overall it looks great and the overspray was easy to rub off the tires! I didn't have good light to get some decent pics so after I wash my car tomorrow I'll post up some pics.
