Why so many Z28s for sale??

Greetings friends,

I have noticed a lot of low mile Z28s out there. Why have people jumped out of them despite taking a HUGE hit?

If you have ever owned one, know anyone who traded it or have one...i would like to hear reasons/opinions.

I like that car but dont want to find myself realizing it was a mistake.

Maybe they realized they rather have a vette or zl1?

Let me know bros!

For a minute, I thought about getting rid of mine because it was rare, looked too cool, scared small children, the exhaust was loud and intimidating, the high G-forces kept spilling my drinks, the Recaros were tight, the CF brakes are so big they look fake, and it was actually sold new with tires that were practically bald! AND NO NAV!

Man, I'm sure glad that minute is over...

No reason to sell for me. I'm happy. Would do again.
Anyone selling might be due to the car being too hardcore. Who knows?

Lots of cars like that end up changing hands a lot. It's just a toy for many people.

Hard to say, but I'm guessing that most people simply didn't know what they were buying. I mean, I didn't even know that the AC shuts off in stop and go traffic in hot weather until after purchasing it and hearing about it on this forum. It won't dissuade me (or most of our members), but stuff like that is a deal breaker for many. You truly have to be an enthusiast to enjoy it. I will even admit that there are moments when the harshness is a bit much for me. For some, it was too much for them the majority of the time.

It's already been said. The Z/28 is a toy for most who buy it. They have fun with the latest toy and then they go looking for their next fix. It's pretty simple. I owned a ZL1 for 2 years, then got tired of that and moved up to the Z/28. Two years from now, what will I be driving? I've owned 4 different Camaros in four years!

But as far as underlying problems and a reason to sell? I don't think you'll find one. This car has no faults or weaknesses. It is a perfect, badass muscle car and has no peer in my humble opinion.

OP, Go ahead and trade that 1LE. You won't regret the upgrade.
