Big shout out to thkfast, THANKS!

After reading about how to paint your rotors and calipers by thkfast, I decided to tackle the job. Just look at the before and after pics. I have to say I am very happy with the results and I would not have known how to do this without being a member here on this site.

WHAT A GREAT SITE THIS IS!

THANKS AGAIN thkfast

Dave

Looks great! I need to paint mine, because the rust on the rotor looks awful.

Can you do this without disconnecting the brake line?

Yes, no brake lines were disconnected. There is a hose connection clip that you unbolt (10mm) on all lines and that gives enough to manipulate (position)the caliper for painting.

Awesome, now the next question is what color do I go with on my car >< It has a White/black theme going on, maybe go white calipers or go Red?

I am thinking of doing white plastidip on the wheels. Maybe Black even.

Yeah yeah, I need to clean up the wheels too, I Already know

Any safe way to clean up those roller skates? just a wire brush or wire wheel?

I think that red would look good on your car especially with black wheels.

Sad thing is My car is parked in a storage unit until April, and there isn't enough room in there for me to do the work I want to do to it. :( so it must wait until spring.
