AFE intake
Thinking about buying, any feedback? Any sound clips? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Here is the thread I looked at before I bought mine. This is the most extensive review on the Intake that I have found.
http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...t=afe+momentum From my experience, it didn't really make much sound difference, as its a nicely built unit, that is sealed. It has a plug that you can remove on the box, if you want to add more sound, but it will let in a small amount of under hood air. AFE in general makes very high quality parts, and has good customer service. I really liked mine, and will be getting another one for my ZL1, if somebody buys mine that I have for sale. For HP gains, the AFE is inline with all the others, very minimal gain if 100% stock, but better throttle response will be seen on a stock car. Once you start modding the car, the intake is needed more, as the stock airbox becomes more of a restriction. At least that is what I have heard from some tuners. If you are buying it only for sound, then I would skip it, its not that much louder IMO.
