Top leakage

I used to be on here when I had a '10 2ss/rs. I recall convertible owners complaining about the leaks. Is there a year that GM fixed the leak issues or are they ongoing? Thinking about a C6 or drop top Camaro.

Thanks!

I think that by 2013 the new design was in and this issue was much improved.

There’s two flaps that are supposed to stink out. If they get stuck behind the bracket it will leak in the back floor. My 14 did this. There’s a post on here with pictures.

I have a 2013 The leaks are ongoing. Nothing unmanageable. Will be interested to see what other year models are experiencing. I love the camaro convertible

In 2013 the top mechanicals were revised, the water bag was revised I believe around the same time. There are couple of specific areas to look out for but if it's set up properly and the windows are adjusted properly it shouldn't leak. I repaired the number 5 bow on the top of my 2011 for instance and have no leaks at all.
