iPhone Blue Tooth "Call Ended" - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have an iPhone 4 with the latest Google Maps app on it. My phone is paired to my '12 Audio System. When I fire up Google Maps to give me directions, the audio comes through the speaker system automatically which is "great." However, after every direction from Google Maps (e.g In 1/4 mile turn right on...) the hands free calling function announces "Call Ended." After EVERY single direction which is somewhat annoying. Anyone know if there is a way to stop that from happening?

It has to do with the phone sending the Bluetooth signal to the car, once she's done talking the signal ends, and it mimics ending the call. I had the same issue the other day. I don't know if you can stop it to be honest.

I have the same issue, if you use google maps connected thru USB your fine,if you use blutooth as far as I know there is no way of shutting this off.

I use it with USB, mainly so the phone is charging while I drive. It doesn't "announce" it when used this way.

Yeah, that's the issue. I noticed when it was connected with the USB it doesn't announce but I want it to - just wish I didn't have to hear the "Call Ended" after every announcement via bluetooth.

Dealer denies it's the stereos fault, blame me, the phone, whatever thet can. The tell me that it doesn't happen with any of their phones. Grrrr!

Same thing here. I just chalk it up to normal functionality even though it does suck to hear call ended after every direction. I don't think we'll ever see the pdim for the 2013. :/

It has to do with the radio thinking it's an incoming call. Have you tried using this while streaming music via Bluetooth? I have a feeling it will be the same way.
This reminds me of the issue I had with the OnStar GPS. Everytime it would give a direction it would pause my music to say the direction, then go back to music. And I have a '12. If you go into a 13 (and I'm assuming newer) the radio lowers the music and speaks the direction, then raises the music back up.

Just picked up a 45th 2SS ... Paired the phone... Put directions in using Google maps and getting this issue. Grrr. Anyone heard of a fix since the last postings?

Congrats on the car I'm partial to the 45th as you could tell. I don't think there is a fix for it. It's almost like you need be able to make adjustments in the app or in settings to not have the gps broadcast through Bluetooth. I do not believe such an option exists however

This is not just in the Camaro. My Silverado does the exact same thing if I try to use google maps.
