Any plans on selling those road race wheels that you had on there? Were those CCWs? I like the build so far

No, sorry, we won't be selling the CCW's. Once we reach our goals with Project Trilo-G on the drag strip, we are going to go back to building it up as a Road Race car, and those wheels will be going back on it.

Been getting lots of questions lately about the DRP007 Drag Race Suspension Package and the BCP001 15" Brake Conversion Package. So I wanted to elaborate on those items a little bit here.
The DRP007 Drag Race Suspension Package consists of: - MTCA030 Chrome-moly Rear Lower Control Arms - TCA033 Single-Adjustable Rear Trailing Arms w/Spherical Rod Ends - CCK004 Upper Coilover Conversion Brackets - S5003 Strange Engineering Double-Adjustable Rear Coilovers - with Hyperco 8"/500 lb. Springs Because of the straight tubular design of the rear lower control arms, you MUST use the much shorter Strange Coilovers with these LCA's. You cannot use factory length rear shocks or coilovers. The nice thing about this package is it CAN be used as a stand-alone suspension package and still fit certain 17" Drag Wheels over the stock Brembo Brakes. You don't have to buy the brake package at the same time in order to run this suspension package. The package is designed for use with the XSB004 Xtreme Drag Anti-Roll Bar, and is best-suited for use with the TR004 Toe Rods, so if you don't have them already, we do recommend adding those parts to the kit as well. Once you're ready to make the jump to 15" drag wheels, you can then purchase the BCP001 Brake Conversion Kit, which consists of: - SPD001 Modified Rear Spindles w/Spherical Bearing Trailing Arm Connection - BCK003 Anodized Brake Caliper Brackets - WIL-BMR15BCP Wilwood Brake Components (consisting of...) - Wilwood 4-Piston Billet Aluminum Brake Calipers - Wilwood 11.75" Cross-Drilled Brake Rotors - Wilwood Modified Brake Rotor Hats - Wilwood Stainless Brake Hoses - Wilwood Drag Race Brake Pads We worked directly with Strange Engineering, Wilwood, and Weld Racing to build up the best possible package to allow an easy-to-install 15" conversion package for the 5th Gen Camaro. These parts were designed specifically for use with Weld Racing's 15x10 Weld RT-S wheels, which have a +51mm offset and 7.5" backspace, but "may" possibly fit with other 15" wheels as well. Please give me a call if you have any questions about these kits, or any parts within the kits. |

In recent years, the Fifth Gen Camaro has solidified its place as a serious player in the performance world. When the car was released, BMR Suspension was on the cutting edge, building parts for the street, handling, and drag race crowd. Though the independent rear suspension is great for the street and handling guys, the drag race guys were left wanting more. If you’re looking to go fast at the dragstrip without ditching Fifth Gen’s IRS, all you need is BMR.
BMR recently laid down multiple 1.28-second 60’ times at multiple tracks on 275 drag radials. What makes this so impressive is the fact that it was done with off-the-shelf suspension parts. To the best of our knowledge, this gives BMR the second quickest 60’ time in an IRS-equipped Fifth Gen Camaro—second only to the Fark’s Supercar Camaro, which also uses BMR Suspension products. BMR Suspension’s 2010 Camaro is equipped with BMR’s DRP007 drag race rear suspension package and BCP001 15” rear wheel conversion. Both packages allow you drag race at the highest level without tire size or the IRS being a limiting factor. |
