Ok the only issue I have the my 16 ss vert is when I just roll the window down, the top huffs and puffs. Other than that I run 12.4 in a quarter. And have hit a full g in the corners at a race track, so can the it won’t track talk. Lol I love the thing,

Dang it!! I wish somebody had told me that convertibles can't track before I took my convertible to the track! Had a blast, by the way. Finished 4th amongst the 4 of us, but considering what they were driving and they all have a lot more track experience than me....

First vert I have ever owned. Never going back !!!!! I have plenty of other cars and trucks when the vert isn’t ideal. Weather, security and such. Tried a stang. I’m a ford guy. Raised that way. The stang was not even in the same league as the camaro. Twist this snap that just to get the top down. No thanks. And then don’t even start about performance and blah blah blah. The camaro is truly the better car. Anyone doesn’t believe that should move on to the girly forum www.carsforgirls.sissy.junk.

Get the vert man. You will love it. This top is tight quite and fun. The rest of the car is just awesome.

Absolutely no regrets. I've had several convertibles in the past, starting with a 1963 Impala SS. It's been years since the last one and I decided it was time for another. My wife likes it but prefers to drive her GMC Envoy so I win there also. You will love the performance. Go for it.

Sold my 98 911 Cab, bought a new Corvette coupe, hated it, traded it for the attached, love it, no issues and no regrets, missed the vert.

I traded in a 2006 Mustang GT vert for a 2LT Camaro vert. The V6 Camaro is a little quicker than the 'stang, it's better on gas. Trunk is a little smaller. Backup camera helps for rear vision. the only thing I miss from the Mustang is the V8 sound. A Camaro SS would fix that!

I have a second personal vehicle and a company car for my daily - the camaro is more of a toy so I cant speak to some of the cons of having it as a daily. The only issue I have with a vert is everything that gets on the outside gets on the inside. Pollen season is HORRIBLE. But you are probably already aware of that with your stang.

I think if the vert was my only car, it would be a little annoying. But as a co-daily driver, it's awesome. I recommend the ZL1 convertible. GAME OVER

The Camaro vert with the top up - most times I can't see any ribs. Recently, some of the windows have started separating from the fabric.

-Never had a problem with drains, no matter how long or hard it rained for.
-Visibility is fine in ALL CAMAROS as long as you adjust the mirrors properly.
-LOVE to be able to put the top up or down while driving at 30mph or less.
-LOVE the hard tonneau feature; no fabric flapping in the wind

You can't go wrong - I've even had mustang hard top & convertible owners talk to me at lights about how they love the look!

Get a convertible!

We have had our 2017 LS for two weeks now (first convertible). Amazing, just amazing. You know the old saying that often the anticipation of owning something is usually more satisfying than actually owning it. Not with this!!!

I work out of town and drive back home every weekend. Yesterday traffic was bad, had a 6 hr drive (normally 4.5). Got home late. What did we do first thing this morning, went for a 3 hr drive with the top down.

Depending on geographic location there can be one major drawback to owning the convertible version of a Gen 6: It makes winter seem interminably long.

A big thank you to everyone for the great replies. So since I have a Mustang convertible I feel like I would be missing something if I went coupe on the Camaro.
