Camaro Factory Fest: Factory Tour INFORMAL sign-up

Hey Mr. Wyndham, This is Curts14 from Colorado. It looks like all three parking lots (Show & Shine, Preferred, and General) are full with waiting lists. Do you know of any other parking close to the Preferred lot that will be available. I am registered for the Preferred lot, but my brother is not. The only other thing we could do is leave one Camaro at the Ramada Lansing Hotel where we are staying.

I'm assuming parking is the big issue. I signed up for general parking, but if my wife and son can't come I may be hitching a ride with someone to the plant which would open up a parking spot. I don't think it asked anywhere how many people would actually be going on the tour.

I don't know of any lots close but you could maybe make a couple trips. Wristbands will be issued to the folks that signed up. This will get you on the bus for the tour and your parking spot.

Yes, parking is the limiting factor. For planning purposes they figure 2 folks per car but the number will vary. Folks can come, but if no wristband there is no parking and no tour.

I had issues signing up which I resolved....Also had a American friend sign up to get me a barcode.... Still have it.
I guess he has a spot reserved. Hmmm... I will put it on Ebay LOLLOLOLOL

Thank you, mlee, for replying. Does that mean that if there are four people in the car, we will get four wrist bands even if I am the only one registered?

If someone ends up on the waitlist i can provide a barcode for general parking in exchange for a ride to the factory. I will leave the rental with the wife and kid and they can play in the pool or something.

Not yet. Unless they're having a sale at the show and the tools to install it, in which case I'll go for the exhaust and cold air intake please.

They will definitely have this stuff on display, but you'll have to buy from a dealer.

I love to see the V6 cars with all the 1LE parts on them. It really transforms the car... especially on the autox track.
