Well that was retarded.... Just called gamestop.com customer service to cancel the pre-order and they said it was already packed to ship, so I explained the situation and she said it must have been a mistake when it said back order, but I probably won't receive it till monday 11/29. So I'm still gonna buy the one local one and then when I get the one in the mail return that copy, luckily with free shipping I break even in the deal.

Ugh... never again.

Picking mine up tomorrow at Toys R Us. Still deciding if I want to go right when they open, which is right when I "should" be at work, go after the morning work is done, go at lunch, or go after work?!? Then, Standard or Collectors?

I'm Hereing reviews might not be that favorable towards GT5 for not adding any arcadish elements to the game, also its been confirmed that GT5 has a progressive damage system, you have too reach lv 10 for tire damage, atleast lv 20 for cosmetic damage and so on. Its an interesting design decision to get people to play through the game.

I can't post links since I am at work, But the Guys at GTplanet.com Have been playing the game for a few days (in europe) and posted pictures and what they thought about it. There is alot of controversy over the progressive damage system, it makes sense to me because like shooters when you go online you can play against people near your level and not some noob who just want to crash into people.
