1968 350 SS Camaro Engine Complete and Dated Coded

This is a rare opportunity to get a true date coded 1968 SS 350 4 Speed Engine.

Engine came out of a numbers matching 1968 Camaro RS/SS factory 4 speed. Beautiful car! During the restoration of the body, body was sold to make a LS pro touring car and new owner had no interest in the drive train except factory 12 bolt. Original engine meticulously restored to show quality with no match as car no longer exists (4 Speed already sold). Pains me personally to bust up a numbers car, I know, I know....!

Offered today is the engine as shown in the photos, completely rebuilt ready to go! In fact is has Brad Penn Break in oil already in the pan and oil pump primed and ready to go. Their is over $1400 of machine work into this engine and receipts will be provided with the sale or could be sent for review. This engine is now .030" bored (355 CI), With the Following NEW parts; Diamond Pistons, hung on Eagle Rods, New Cam & Lifters, Steel Shim Head Gaskets as engine has original Steel Crank. The Rotating assembly was Balanced for both performance and longevity. The GM Camel back cylinder heads now have hardened exhaust seats, molly retainers, TRW long slot rocker arms, screw in studs, guide plates, 2.02 / 1.60 Manly Stainless Valves, and cam matched springs retainers and keepers.
