Question 6th Gen Headlights for 5th Gen Camaro

Hello,

This might be tricky to understand but I have a 2015 Camaro LS and I purchased the 6th gen headlights for it but whenever I turn on the car the headlights turn on. So in order to get the DRL on I would have to turn the Exterior lamp controls on time to the right meaning the DRLs turn on but so does my sidemarkers and my tailights. Is there any way or a setting in the car that whenever I turn on my car the DRLs automatically turns on instead of having the turn the knob one time to the right?

Hello,
Thanks for the link but I am not talking about my fog lights I have another switch for them. I am talking about this light. In order to have them on I have to turn on my Parking Lamps and I do not want them to be on.

Looks like your talking about the halo light. What I did on my 2010 was wire the halos so that when the key is on, the halos are on. No parking lights or tail lights that way, as well.

Yea, those are the "DRL's" for the 6th gen headlights, similar to the 5th gen halos, so not sure how you would change that. Sorry.

I have lights like that, so halos are on all the time as drl, and old drl (fog) from switch. Ordered wiring harness from sjmautoprod and Tony Nowakowski. That 1JEWLDSSRS's link's harness may do the same, it's up to how your switch is wired...
