Question Exhaust Cutouts in the Rear???

Hey,

Out of curiosity, does anyone have sound clips of their exhaust cutouts installed in the rear near the muffler? I have straight pipes with my car being lowered, that is the only place I can install them with clearance. I figured, being that close to the exhaust tips, it would be pointless. But, I seen quite a few pics of them on others cars. Would like to know how they sound being placed there.

You said the magic words, "your car" referring to me. My car. Yes, I like the rowdiness. It is already loud.

Here are 3" pre-cat header dumps for comparison - not for use over any length of time or you will go def - the vibrating seats are pretty cool:

No I don't mean that I mean wouldn't cutouts with straight pipes be the exact same thing as your exhaust except sound coming out of the bottom

The only thing you will gain, will be the sound will be under the car rather than behind ... With the muffler delete the loudness will be the same.

This how I've got mine mounted. I've got catless midpipes, and replaced the resonator with an x pipe. If you want I could get a video for you later.

Same as dontlift19... Badlanz. The pic below is while I was test fitting. I have them tucked up level with the exhaust now. They seal really well.

I try to be polite, but geez. No shit lol. Maybe this is why I asked for a sound clip instead of actually doing it. Ive seen pics of straight piped Camaros with em mounted as well, this is another reason I am asking as well as the fact that I plan to go cat back in the near future. I shouldn't have to explain future plans when I make a simple request. Thank you tho. The post does state "out of curiosity".
