A6 making a funny noise
Hi all,
I'm noticing a deep rattling noise coming from what I think is the tranny during light driving loads. I don't hear it when I have the car in sport shift and it's not happening during the shift. it's like when the car goes from deceleration back to load I get this rattle. Maybe the clutch packs making noise?, maybe the converter? Anyone else hearing something strange? I guess it could be something else all together but for now it seems to be tied to the transmission. I'll have it at the dealer for a checkout next week. Just wondering if I was the only one. -John

Found it.. Used my predetor to turn off the AFM and the noise went away.
