Exclamation Camaro SS brake pad choice? HELP!

Can someone tell me what pads to use that won’t make an extremely annoying brake squeal? I have a 2011 Camaro SS and I’ve tried numerous pads, different brands, different compounds and they still squeal louder then a bus. Right now I’m on R1 Concepts street pads. I daily my car and I’m looking to sell it soon but I can’t sell it with the brakes sounding the way they do. I’ve also tried greasing every component of the brakes where metal touches. I didn’t have this issue when I bought the car used 3 years ago, but I have no idea what pads were on the car. If someone could give me their input on what combination of pads and rotors they use I would greatly appreciate it! I’ve also heard many times “performance brake pads and Brembos squek so deal with it” but like I said I didn’t have this issue before and I want to go back to a silent brake pad.

I used the brake performance ceramic brakes for my V6 upgrade. They only make noise once in a while when their cold, first stop etc. but usually quiet

Did you perform the bed on procedure on the pads?

I would get the rotors turned and put on the factory GM pads.

AC Delco 171-1112 Pads
AC Delco 177-1050 Rotors

The brembos like to be used aggressively. The harder I brake, the less noise mine make. This is common.

+1...lol I have been usin Advance Auto (Wagner?) brand pads and rotors...inexpensive and per above if they start to get noisy I just take it up to speed and brake aggressively short of anti lock...prob solved until next time...

heck when I'm drag racin by the 3rd or 4th run they are squealin like pigs...afterwards on the ride home....silence....

peace

btw - has the brake fluid been bled? pedal should be very firm(mine is)...since I am M6 changin the fluid also changes the clutch fluid...and have bled my brakes 2x since ownin it (3yr now)..

Stock Brembo pads are awesome track or street and don't squeak in my experience.

Thank you for this I’ll give it a shot with these. Someone also mentioned to order all new caliper bolts bc they are a one time use type of deal so I’m gonna do that too. Hopefully this will work

Yeah pretty much same situation here but I can’t pull up to every intersection and brake check the people behind me every time 😂
