So I bought some race wheels now too.

15x10 Race Stars for the rears and 17x4.5 Race Stars for the front, direct drilled in a 5x4.5 bolt pattern

How are you using a 15" diameter wheel over those Brembo brakes? Mine looks like 18" would be a close call with those freakish round things that look like tumors sticking out if the calipers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Seer has a mustang, only front brembos.

People talked a lot of smack about ford "cheaping out" and doing that... Maybe they were actually assuming ppl would want to put meats on the back.

Honestly I think they did cheap out, however, I'm a straight line guy so I wouldn't care if there was 1995 v6 camaro back brakes on the rear of my car I'd love to run 15" drag rims. I was going to do a current v6 rear brake conversion on mine till I found that only be going from a 17" to a 16" rear rim. 16" drag rim selection is teh suck

Considering that the front brakes do most of the braking (I don't know the proportion, though), I'd surmise the regular brakes on the rear do not significantly affect performance.

However, there's that perception thing...

Did you look it up? It's quite crazy what rhetoric can do. We get to experience it every four years!

yep. Jim Jones was the Kool Aide nut. I was young but I remember that very well. Always confused me how so many could have been led to their slaughter so easily. Now, as I'm older, I see there are many sheeple in the world. Makes a little more sense now.

Drums are fine, just ugly

GM trucks continue to have this rear drum/disc crisis; flipping between the two throughout the past decade.

All one needs to do is take a look at any other section of Camaro5 aside from this thread to see that...
