Ok folks, it's official.

The 3rd annual, half mile top speed challenge "Race The Runway" is slated for August 23, 2014 at Russ Beach Airport near Smiths Falls, Ontario.

100 cars this year.

Registration begins March 1.

If you want to do this I would recommend signing up as soon as registration opens. Previous years have filled up very quickly. No details about cost yet.

As with previous years an apres Runway BBQ will be held at the ripcard ranch.

Good question Dave. Haven't seen anything specific about registration for returning drivers but I'll send Peter an email and ask.

I forgot to cancel my hotel reservation

The RtR guys are reporting, "Registration system still being tweaked. Expect it to be up tonight or early Sunday. Will fire out a tweet when it's up."

Never got an answer on a pre-registration and cost was $200 last year.

Returning drivers will be allowed to register first, then they will open it up later for new racers.
We will probably be sent emails with a link.
