Buying tires

Thinking of ordering a set of continental extreme contact dws 06 plus from either Tire Rack or Discount Tire. Has anyone delt with them, and how was your experience?

I deal with Discount tire, and always have. Great prices and great service. I have run the Conti's ever since my Camaro got aftermarket wheels years ago!!

Always had good luck with tirerack, but this spring I bought a set of Michelin PS4S from a local tire shop $30/tire cheaper.

I cant speak on ordering the tires from either but great choice on the DWS06. When I was running all seasons they were my absolute favorite. I even drove through snow storms when I had them on the Camaro. I liked them so much I put them on my 01 SS also, my brothers G8, my boss's 11 GT, and my sister Gen coupe.

I have ordered from both and had no problems. Discount tire direct has good sales sometimes. I’ve got tires delivered in two days a few times.

^^^^ Totally agree on this!! Really nice tires for just about everything. Like I said, have been running them since the Camaro's first set of wheels 10yrs ago. Nice ride and great mileage. I have MPSS's on the rear now only because nobody else makes a 335 tire, wish Conti did, I would have them.

Thanks for the replies. None of my local tire shops can get the rear 275/ 40's but all are willing to have them shipped to them. My Pirelli's are sticky but noisy. I need an all-season tire living in the mid-west.

I've ordered through both. Always good experiences.

You won't be disappointed in either.

Excellent tire choice. That was my first option but they were out of stock on the size I needed. Went with general gmax rs instead. DWS06S will be the tires I run next though!

Bought a ton of tires through tire rack. I highly recommend them. Had a nail go through the tire where it couldn't be patched. Used the road side hazard for the first time. Suler easy. Reimbursed me for what I paid for the tire.

have used them on other cars and were fine. also use Discount Tires, usually better deals than Tire Rack.
