Kooks is a little over priced imo. For what you pay, you’d think they would have torque specs in the instructions and non leaking connections. But I have/had neither of those things. My decision to go with kooks was based primarily on clearance issues or lack there of. I encountered none. I would think any American made headers would be good.

the guy that did my ceramic coating said that he really likes kooks and said they were really nice. I’m sure he’s done hundreds of headers so there’s that.

I am either going with Kooks or BBk, but am waiting to hear back from my contact that used to own SLP. He's checking to see if he has any in storage. I will let you know what I decide. Thanks for all the input!

ARH, Kooks, Stainless Works, TSP all good choices. I wouldn't put mild steel BBK headers on a ZL1, but that's just me. You can get stainless TSP for the same price.

I put a set of Kooks and had them coated. They still look perfect after 3 years of driving.
