Michelin Pilot Sport 4S or Continental Extreme Contact Sport

I am divided on the next set of tires I would like to get. The stock Pirellis have lasted 22k with one tire having a filled puncture, they still have life left in them but not risking driving on that puncture. The Michelin and Continental come out this month and both have good reviews. Still waiting on the tread rating from TireRack on the Michelin, hopefully its 300 or higher. Still concerned about Continental though, last time I had there set, the sidewall started to brown rapidly and didn't last long. Open to some suggestions and opinions about these two tires.
