900 WHP on nitrous?

For discussions sake.

What does it take to make 900 WHP on a 416 "assuming a 250 shot or kit capable of 250"?

Curious about some of the more informed opinions about this.

Probably gonna take more than a 250 shot, especially if an auto.

Expect 550-600rwhp on a well built motor...

Agreed

This question was based on some pretty cheap talk that took place at the local 1/8th mile last night. I for one don't know 1/10th of what's out there because these days there is a lot on the table to make power in terms of parts and options.
I don't know of any possible way to make 900 RWHP on a 250 shot of nitrous from a 416-17 that will live on the street. I know the crew that commonly reads the posts here have seen quite a bit that I haven't. So I thought I would pose the question for some quick Saturday morning feedback. So far just what I expected.

No problem if you have a Supercharger with that shot of Nitrous but on Motor no way imho. I am 530-550 rwhp pump gas and will be running a 150-200 shot dual bottle setup for 1/2 mile if I ever get it hooked up. Been months just sitting. So much left to do to car and no time to get it done or Race until after Jan. :(

And to be clear about my other post, 550-600rwhp on a well built motor N/A... Before nitrous.

Yes , if someone could come up online with nitrous non dual power adder car making even 800 I would be curious to know details about that combination. Understand I have no grief with nitrous in this discussion. It makes awesome power especially per dollar. I just don't have any idea what it takes to make the 800-900 WHP number.

One hell of a strong drive train, built block and a lot of nitrous (300/400 shot). Definitely some kind of progressive system to deliver it. 900hp and on nitrous i would expect the torq figure to be at least 1000 if not more. Suspension of course just not to blow your tires on every run.

Just to point out the obvious but most guys spraying big shots go direct port, dedicated fuel system as well with race gas

Based on the feedback so far I can assume it's not likely to run across a street car with a 250 shot making 900 WHP. I didn't think so. Track side talk is pretty cheap but not usually this cheap.

Most I've seen with my own eyes was 695rwhp on a cammed 376 LS3 and 250shot. Was running a separate race gas cell when on the nitrous hit.

That's about the power level I've seen as well. I just don't know how anyone can squeeze 900 out on a ligit street car on a 250 shot. I know there is a large audience here to vet this with.
I may ease a litltle nitrous into my ole heap this winter. When I say ease, I mean not much. I like the the way the car drives now buuuuuuut, there are those times when you really don't want to see someone's tail lights.

It is possible thought on a 250 shot but like i said you're talking about some kind of after market block or perhaps a ls7 to hit 900 . Liek high compression + e85+ ported heads + ported intake. Basically a max effort engine, every trick in the book. That's just power wise, not including drive train etc etc etc. You're talking about some good cash involved

When the little TVS2300 is not enough and your too stubborn to change! This would help the OP reach his goals.

Warhorse ! Nice work there! If you don't mind I would like some details. I like the very clean look of the setup you have there. I would also like to know how the PATC trans is treating you at whatever power level you are at.

Feel free to PM if you like.
