Exclamation Roll Drivers Side Window Down and Then Up Message Wont go away!!!

Hey folks: I destroyed my passenger side mirror on the side of my garage(dumbass move of the year) a couple months ago, I replaced it on Friday and all went well. the next morning(coincidence?) I noticed my car was not turning over as fast as it normally would. Today I went to start it and it did the ol' "I have a dead battery and I aint starting" crap to me.....
so $200 later I had the new battery installed and the car fired up just fine, however it keeps telling me to roll down the drivers side window and roll it up again. that of which I complied with several times but the message wouldnt go away. I tried everything to get it to go away but had no luck. I even connected the scanner and it couldnt find it.
Does anyone here know how to make that message go away????

Try disconnecting the battery.

I had the same thing happen when I replaced my battery. I tried several times to reset following the re-indexing procedures; didn't work. I gave up and left the garage to eat lunch. Went back after eating and the indexing message was gone. Don't know what cleared it and it hasn't come back.
