I agree if ABL isnt there at start of production its a deal breaker for me. Sorry but as cool as the car is, it is one extra thing that makes it special and not having it the car looses some of its coolness/uniqueness. Plus as stated I'm sure the prices arent going to be adjusted for not having it. Its hard to believe that ABL would be such a difficult thing to get going that there would be a chance it wouldnt be avaliable at start of production unless its an issue with getting the parts.

I've got cash in hand for a new Camaro but between the economy and possibilties like this of the Camaro being less than what I expected (and due to the fact that we are short one car now since I sold our Pontiac Solistice), I'm about ready to go put money down on a Mustang or a Challenger. I dont want to wait another year for them to get the Camaro to the point where it should be (i.e. ABL included). Even not having the HUD at start of production pisses me off. I'm hoping that the HUD can be added later at the dealership when it becomes available so I can have the complete package (assuming I go through with the purchase of the car).

No. This will NOT turn into a stripe thread!

I will not cancel my order if ABL is not included. I will, however, put it off until it is (as long as they say it's coming). If they scrap it all together, I will not cancel my order. I will still get it, but the price had BETTER reflect the change of no ABL. ABL makes the interior of this car simply kick @ss.

As much as I want the Camaro in my garage ASAP, not having the ABL available at launch will get me to postpone my order until it is ready.

The HUD not being ready for launch was a disappointment, but not having either the HUD or the ABL will keep me away from the drivers seat for a while.

If it's not available can we add it later?

I love the ABL but it won't stop me from getting the Camaro...but I would like the option to add it in there, along with HUD, when they do become available!

Are we possible trading HUD for the ABL? Could be if you look at the Camaro specs in the GMPPG.

The ABL is one of the reasons why I ordered the 2SS. If it is not there at launch, then my order will be put off until it is available. What a dissappointment.

Hmmm. I may do the same, the HUD I got over but the ABL is the reason I got the 2LT. Hope we hear something soon about the ABL being available, I want that feature and if I'm going to wait for that, I could wait for the HUD.

Some higher ups got any status on the ABL please?

Yeah, I too will postpone my order if Ambient Light is not available at launch.

I will also cancel without ABL. Sorry...but for this kind of money I can wait until the next model comes out and probably get supplier pricing by then anyway.

If they trade HUD for ABL as you suggest then that's cool with me. If I had to choose HUD or ABL I would pick HUD anyday...of course having both would be best.

If my 2SS suddenly does not ABL nor does it have HUD then I am also postponing my order until that is resolved.
