Why isn't there a law against stupid?
Came around a corner earlier tonight and had to slam my brakes because of this morons parking job. Threw my spotlight on it to see it better.

I once saw a car stopped in the middle of the freeway, on a curve, in the middle of three lanes. Cars were coming around the curve, and damn near wiping out... skidding, sliding, swerving... I watched a school bus get sideways, surprised by the obstacle in the road.
I had a push bumper on my truck, and, in spite of the risk, decided I'd try to move the car out of the way. I pulled up behind, went to the window, and told the driver that I would push her off of the road.... told her to put it in neutral. She said, "But my car is making a funny noise." "Okay fine, but I'll get you off of the road..." As I approached her rear bumper, she slowly started to drive away. Indeed, her car was making a funny noise... but the car was fully F%$king driveable. I was stunned. But it wasn't over... she then drove--- for mile after mile after mile--- at 5MPH, in the middle lane. She passed wide shoulder/ dirt lots, she passed freeway exits... at 5MPH, driving along. I was behind her, trying to get her to pull off the road... cars were honking, swerving trying to avoid her. A couple of 18- wheelers even saw the situtuation and created a roadblock, 1/8 mile behind her, to "clear her for landing." As far as I know, that stupid b&t%h is still rolling along, with her car "making a funny noise." That's my personal story of stupid. |

The OP is probably a cop since he said that he "put his spotlight on it", and it looks like he is driving a charger. I hope that you made contact with this idiot and wrote him a ticket

Stupid explained;
The Dunning-Kruger effect, named after David Dunning and Justin Kruger of Cornell University, occurs when incompetent people not only perform a task poorly or incompetently, but lack the competence to realize their own incompetence at a task and thus consider themselves much more competent than everyone else. Put more crudely, they're too stupid to realize they're stupid. (The inverse also applies: competent people tend to underestimate their ability compared to others.)

No I'm not a cop. I just bought a retired charger pursuit for my work car. Came with a performance chip so it's an ungoverned hemi. Has drilled and slotted rotors and huge 6 piston calipers that even confused the dealer when they tried finding me the right sized pads for it. Told me here... Here's the srt8 break pads see if these are the right size they're not the same part # but they're the biggest for the chargers. Nope to small come to find out I have brakes off a Mercedes Benz lol. 71,000 miles 9,888 dollars. Bought 4 years ago still hasn't broke down even once. Now has 160,000 miles.
