I don't know about that, but at least the rest of the season.

It’s not what I think will happen. But what I think should happen. This isn’t some late hit. Or roughing the passer incident. This is full on using a helmet and full swinging and hitting another player without a helmet on.

What I THINK will happen, at the VERY least, is a full 1 year suspension. Come back next year, week 11.

If it’s just the rest of this season, that’s just freaking awful

Roger Goodell has an extremely poor record of disciplining players for extreme actions. It will be interesting how the NFL handles this out-of-control act.

You have to look at it in such a way, if he wasn't stopped, how many times would he hit him, or beat on him? He showed no he had zero respect for himself, the other player and the game. Then later in his interviewed with a "I'm sorry, just got a little crazy, but I didn't start it" kind of explanation. Yeah, Wasn't Me, someone else had my jersey on.

Indefinite suspension. I passed out early watching the game and woke up to that craziness all over the place. Never seen anything like that before.

Wait for it....

I agree. If Hunt gets 8 games for what he did, this was exponentially worse.

In 2006 Albert Haynesworth stomped on the face of a helmetless Andre Gurode.. who needed 30 stitches to close the gash.

Haynesworth got five games.

So lets try to reign in the drama a little bit... while the optics are poor, nobody got hurt and it wasn't like Rudolph didn't instigate the whole thing.

Haynesworth should have been removed from the NFL forever as well.

I don’t think it should matter if Myles whiffed completely or bashed Masons head in and killed him. The act of forcefully swinging the helmet and even attempting to hit someone without a helmet on, is enough for a life ban, IMO.

But I know Myles will get off with a short ban. That’ll teach him.

Again, all this bickering back and forth about who got what, back when compared to now just feeds my point earlier. Roger and the NFL has no disciplinary guidelines set, they all go "off the hip" decisions. Thus again proving you never know if pulling a knife on a QB during a sack would get you a $5,000 fine and 1 game suspension or 5-10 years for attempted murder. This issue was brought up to the NFL many years ago, and again, nothing has still been done to address it. All they want is their money and ignore the issues.

The NFL cannot address discipline in any way. Look at the whole kneeling thing, which I won't get into my opinion. But the NFL just decided to sidestep it and say "we just won't show the National Anthem on TV" anymore. Really?

The NFL needs full time officials and a disciplinary committee that does not include Roger. Right now it is a complete mess.

Patriots bring us Spygate 2.

"According to sources who have viewed the tape, it shows about eight minutes of footage focusing on recording the Bengals’ sideline. It’s a direct view of the sideline as coaches make signals for plays."

Patriots deny it, of course. It's a bad look, kind of like Biden's son getting $80,000+ per month for a board position in an industry he's never worked in.
