For those of you who do get the HUD installed into your Camaro's, please remember to add your information to my list.

I found this harness behind the radio when I was installing my HUD. Any idea what it's for?

I'm saving up mod money and I'm torn between either HUD or the rearview mirror camera. The HUD install seems pretty intense. I'm wondering if it's really worth all the effort. Never had HUD before and some people tell me they can't live without it and others say after a while you never pay attention to it.
Love it. It's worth the hassle for sure. I'd do it if were me, but I decided to get one with it already installed. Ofer's prices are the best too from what I've found. The camara is great as well but I like the HUD a little more.

Just did this, thanks for the directions, Ofer! It turned out great and I did the dash abl at the same time.

FYI, I used a T45 on the big torx bolt on the steering wheel. Not sure if it's exactly the right size since it seemed a bit loose but it worked fine.

^ The T50 hex worked perfectly for me.

I was going to do the dash kit, bought it, but I also have the abl cup holders and it turned out way too much. Ended up keeping the cup holders and not the dash.

Easiest thing would be to buy the HUD retrofit kit from Gen5 DIY
