12 2LT vs 2005 silverado 1500
Tonight I was in town headed to buy some wrapping paper for Christmas gifts, had a couple of teenagers in town get right up on my bumper. I got into the right lane, we both had to stop at a light. They pulled up beside of me and revved, as soon as the light turned green...well, they didn't stand a chance. By the time I had hit 50 they were way behind me.

Just wondering...how do you know it was a 2005?
Beating a truck isn't really something to brag about. Stock V6 Camaros should not have issues with stock trucks from any year (except for Lightning's, SRT-10's, Silverado SS). Trucks can be quick with simple bolt-ons though, especially 5.3 regular cab trucks.

Currently have my eye out for a 99-02 Chevy with standard cab short bed with a 5.3 and possibly a manual transmission. I feel like I'm looking for a unicorn though. My V6 Camaro beat my 98 pretty handily when it was NA and now it's not even at all close.

Eh it wasn't really anything worth bragging about as much as I thought it was funny that they thought they stood a chance. I knew a truck wouldn't keep up with mine. Also theirs was a bit of a riced up truck anyways, so I knew nothing professional had been done to it :P

My crew cab silverado 4x4 would stomp ur v6 camaro lol. But it does have a 6.0 better gearing and bolt ons. Like said previously most trucks don't stand a chance against the v6 it isn't really worth trying but and lightning or diesel that has been programmed will beat it.
