I just got an email from GM on the college graduate discount. They've expanded it so all college students can get the GMU pricing (which is the same as supplier, I believe). I don't know if there are any college students looking to buy, but this could save you some cash.

I'm actually getting GMS (dad's an employee), but if I remember correctly GMU is like $1500 off a 2SS. Can anyone confirm that?

There hasn't been pricing announced. The code is actually GSU (not GMU). It's usually anywhere from 4%-9% depending on the specific car, options, etc.

Who is eligible to participate in the GM College Discount Program?
Eligible participants include college students (from any two- or four-year school), recent graduates who have graduated no more than two years ago, and current nursing school and graduate students. An eligible customer must produce one of the following:

1. Evidence of enrollment in an associate, undergraduate, nursing or graduate degree program.
2. A diploma dated no more than two years before the vehicle purchase or lease, from a four-year bachelor's degree, a registered nursing degree, a two-year associate's degree or a graduate degree program.

I can't even attempt to afford a new car but at least I am eligible for SOME discount now! Though I will probably wait until graduation anyway to get one, 1 more year!

This is good on GMs part esp. since most manufacturers are offering a lot of discounts now.
With that said good luck trying to find a dealer who will accept it.
