2009 CIAS Camaros
For any of those heading down to the Toronto Auto Show,
There are 2 camaros on display. I just got back from job training there, and they have: 1) a 2SS IOM with white stripes 2) Black one with a V6. I quickly just walked by, there may be another one.. im unsure. |

Is it a black one or THE black concept?

Anyone who is attending the show, on Saturday morning, just look for the Camaro5 CDN Secret Service Team guarding the Camaros. Introduce yourself and we may let you look inside

Good quality pictures would be awesome. See if you can get a realistic look at the color.

Photos from CIAS
I was going to take some pictures of that other "body style" at the CIAS yesterday (like maybe the Play Boy Bunny that was there....) - but the battery on my camera crapped out . Time for a new camera. But for now, here's some shots of the 'Maros at the CIAS (sorry for the heavy weighting towards the IOM - but that's my order so....)

Don't forget - that car has been at several auto shows already and gets beat all day. And it's not your avid Camaro lover either. A bunch of dumb asses clammering in and out of the car, slamming the doors, jamming the shifter back and forth, puttin' their sticky hands all over them, even picking at the edges of the stripes with their finger nails!! Really makes me to see it. Enough to make a guy . That's the main reason I went early and didn't stay too long. So back to the seats. The driver's seat on the IOM interior shows a lot of wear (creases, dirt etc.) But I noticed 2 things (i) the bolster was still relatively firm; and (ii) unlike the leather in my Av, the colour was NOT wearing off it. I figure the abuse that those seats have taken will be equiv. to about 5+ years of wear - maybe more if it's your summer driver like mine. And that's without proper leather conditioning. So all in all, I think they will stand up fairly well. And the black leather doesn't show the creases nearly as bad. Actually I was quite impressed with the interior build quality - minus of course the absent ABL.

The camaro made front page of the Toronto Star! The IOM SS looked gorgous, alot of people were asking if it was red, and i said look closer, believe me you will love my Orange Camaro!
Funny how fast word travels around school. I walked late into class being called Mister Camaro since my friend went to the autoshow and struck a conversation with the entire class of how im getting one before i even got to the class. Anyways it was great meeting you Scott, did you know that Heather had her SS parked outside while she went to the autoshow, must be amazing to go to the show, watch people drool over the Camaros, only to have people drool over your camaro as you leave the show. |
