Epic fail, beeen spending the past 2 hours going through my dad's garage to find the right tools to install the scoop and such and can not find anything at all. I think I am just going to go and buy everything since I'll need tools eventually anyways. So does anyone know what tools I would need to do this install? I don't want to buy the wrong ones and end up having to return them. I know for the fender liner it is either a hex or torx but idk what size and what size wrench would I need to undo the bolt that the stock washer bottle is attached with? Any help is appreciated.

If removing wheel you will require some type of breaker bar and torque wrench. I did this to get the cleanest cut possible. Jack, Jack stands, flat head and Philips screw drivers to remove the wheel liner, socket set and bucket to remove and drain washer bottle, some type of cutting tool to make opening. If I'm forgetting something I'm sure someone will call me out.

Ok so the screws holding the wheel liner aren't torx?

kjkjr27......since you don't have any tools to speak of.....that is truely where I suggest you start.....buying some quality tools. and I know your in an appartment......I bought this set for my 20 yr old son for his "stater set" and it even has a nice sturdy box for EVERYTHING...and you can easly store it in your closet, the box is about 18" wide and 14" tall......260 pc's.....$299

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...6260000P?mv=rr

other than that......get one of these screw driver sets for another $23 has 17 different screw drivers.

with all this.....you will have 99 % of the tools you will need for regular mods and maintenance.

My mistake... they are. It's been a few weeks now so I forgot. I would for sure take the whole wheel liner out. I know some have done it by pulling it back with the wheel turned, but that seems like more of a pain.

That's a real nice set for the money. My brother just recently picked that one up.

Drive to my house will do it in 20 min, you need some tools to do any DIY, its fun some time and some times its not.

Good luck.

Can someone tell me exactly how to get the car up using a floor jack and a pair of jack stands? I'm about to do this I'm just not sure on where to place the floor jack and stands.
