***Definitely don't use any compression fittings. Like Nextlevel said; some states will fail you on inspection if they see compression fittings on lines that contain brake fluids ( brakes and clutch's) . Also all race tracks pretty much will not let your car on a track if they see any compression fittings on your car. They do perform Tech inspections at most tracks including Drag strips, Road courses and Auto X events. Use only flare fittings for any hard lines, or use
-AN3 or -AN4 PTFE line and PTFE fittings. Do not use regular AN line or fittings. You must use PTFE -AN style on brake fluid lines and clutch lines.

Do one of the 2 or a combo of both....

1-You can buy hardline, fittings and a flaring tool kit and make your own hard lines and use flare fittings etc.. Easy to do. Or buy pre-made lines that are all set up (flared) for assembly. The only down side to pre-made lines is you only can buy the size available lengthwise in a store. If you learn to make the lines by flaring yourself you can make the lines to your exact sizes for your projects. You will want to get some hand benders from 0-180* so you can bend the shapes regardless if you make the lines or buy them ready.

2-You can use PTFE hose line and PTFE fittings...Easy to do but gets expensive quickly if you need a lot of different fittings. You simply cut your PTFE line and put the fitting on properly etc. This looks great though over anything else if done right. The only down side to this plumbing system is tight turns need to be avoided so you don't crimp/ pinch a line. Heat wrap is also needed to protect from high heat could make the line melt. Fire shield hose wrap will prevent the hose from melting near exhaust etc.

***In my set up for the clutch tamer/ controller, I am using a combo of Nickle copper hard line, 3/16 & 1/4 and I will be using -4AN PTFE line and fittings.

Made some progress last night and got the new Wilwood remote reservoir installed. The GTO's & FAG's reservoir's hold 1.2oz of fluid. The new remote reservoir is the Wilwood 4 oz. I bought the 4oz and the 10oz but the 10oz won't fit with my 2step box where it is. I do not want to move the 2step box since its convenient where it is when i have to adjust it at times. I will probably sell the GTO reservoir and the 10oz Wilwood reservoir. I put the main components in so I could see if everything was going to fit. Everything fits good ( tight area but doable) including my 2 step where it was before i started this project. Looks like i'll be able to plumb it all up from this point with hopefully no snags.

Got the tamer device installed. Tomorrow sometime I'll have to lift the car so I can finalize the main line from transmission to the main valve connector and slip the fire shield wrap on the main line as well. Then I can purge the clutch system and see how it tames the clutch pedal return. Certainly was tough fitting it all in the area behind the strut tower. Like putting a golf ball through a garden hose. I ended up making a diverter with a main line shut off and added a bleeder after all line configuration exit and go to main line feed to transmission. This will allow easy vacuum bleeding on the system before bleeding through the speed bleeder. Had to fab a bracket for the diverter assembly too. Nice thing is the shut off valve I used had threaded holes for mounting it which when I finished made it nice and secure. I have a few of the hard to get parts and fittings as some I bought 2ea. of if anyone is interested in those fittings let me know. I have an extra shutoff valve like I used as well
Because I wasn’t sure if I was going to use 2 on the system but I only ended up needing 1 of the shutoff valves.

Plumbing completed. Next I’ll rough in the electrical stuff for the MPH settings and switch controller.

Lever down allows the clutch line to maintain a factory like flow from the master cylinder to the transmission slave cylinder.

Lever up allows the factory flow to be shutoff stopping factory flow and allows the clutch fluid to flow only through the clutch pedal tamer controller system. The bleeder nipple allows air bleed of upper components prior to bleeding from the remote speed bleeder.

Very impressive. I'm going to be quite embarrasses when I get mine installed. Not quite at that level I think. I've been very busy at work so not a lot of progress plus I've got a bunch of the rest of the car torn apart as well so... Hopefully get something done this weekend but we'll see.

I did have a few minute to do something that required a little less thought.

Was very trying on my patience to keep it all tidy and confined in that area. That darn hose tab nipple on the brake reservoir makes it aggravating. I have a oem automatic reservoir on mine that is not cut at that nipple like my stock one was that I swapped out when I did the clutch and brake fluid separations, so the one on my car now is factory crimped. I put a little black cap cover on it so it didn’t seem so ridiculous with the big white stem sticking out. I may mess around with my old brake reservoir that was cut for clutch line by the factory. I’m thinking I may try melting the stupid white long stem back close to the reservoir body. If I can melt it and seal it good I’ll pop the old one on. I’m thinking some red hot pliers would crimp it and seal it possibly.

Thanks. I'm sure it's damn near useless on the street and a complete waste of money but at least I can say I have carbon fiber drive shaft. Hopefully everyone will believe me since you'll need a lift and a mirror to prove it. LOL

Those CF driveshafts are a piece of art! Always stinks when you install such a nice upgraded expensive part but never can see or show it lol. I feel that way about the McLoad twin clutch I installed on mine. Looks so awesome but other than the pictures I took when installing it nobody can see it.
