Selecting New Wheels Question

So it's spring in the north (Upstate NY) and time for frolicking with the Camaro. I want to replace the stock rims with ones that are chrome and found the best deal at Performance Plus out on the west coast. But there are several sizes offered for the 5th Gen Camaro with 20” wheels, ranging from widths of 8 and 9 inches and offsets of 35mm and 40mm. I called Performance Plus to be sure I ordered the correct size for my SS. After some checking he came back and said that the wheels I needed were 20x8” on the front and 20x9” on the rear, both with a 35mm offset. Does this sound right? I obviously have the Brimbo brakes and would have though the 40mm offset was needed to clear them?

they could be right....it truely depends on the wheels design....as there are some 20's that won't even fit on the SS becasue of the brakes.
