I was not too sure about this color when I got it, but I love it now! I think the Cyber Gray stripes really pull it together.

OK CRT firends and everyone else. Need opinions. Going to put cowl spears, skinny side stripes and quarter panel spears on my CRT camaro. I have matte black gills, and big worm dark tinted side markers which appear glossy.

My question is do I go with matte or gloss black on the CRT?

initially i was going to do matte, but now i think the gloss really pops and that leaves the gills to be matte themselves which are supposed to be vents anyway.... I am buying them from BWG so if you need to know it will be the skinny COPO stripes and the COPO cowl spears

From a practical perspective, gloss you can gently wax over.
Matte you have to tape off when waxing, and seems harder to keep looking nice over time.

Aesthetically, gloss would look great with shiny CRT.

I like matte.

And matte vinyl holds up better, the gloss portion of vinyl stripes can fade over time unevenly, and since matte is already matte, there isn't any real fading to do.

I like the contrast of flat stuff.

Have a 14SS with midnight silver rims. Thoughts on what color I should paint the calipers ? Bright red like Chevy puts on the 1LE or a deeper CRT like red.
I am leaning towards the bright red.
