I would say about 10% lower than the current discounts, so call it around 2/3 of msrp in a year for 2016's. My take. Puts a $45K 2SS right around $29-$30K. So I think you are on target with your thinking.

OP Under $30K will be no problem for you. You might even bag a 2SS.

Mine was a GM exec car plus 20% off. Plus it came supercharged from factory. I paid under 35k for a supercharged car. Too hard to pass up.

I'm figuring $29-32k for 1SS (32k with less than 10k miles)
32-35k 2SS I don't think 20% tag next November will work for me. I want 1SS, Hyper Blue Metallic, npp, 8A, standard wheels 20% tags were only on 2SS's as far I could find this year. Could take a 2SS, but must be Hyper Blue Metallic! We'll see the prices then. |

I've see new w those options for 36k if willing to fly out
Personally I wish chevy would just lower the dam price vs jack up than drop and leave us holding the value hit .... make it ten percent less and sell more ! |

a year from today you should be able to find a used 2SS for 28k easily. options and miles varying... but i found a 2016 2SS hyper blue with npp, a8 for 33k over here with 6500 miles...I passed on it cuz I know I want mag, and u can get one new for about 35 or 36k now.

Easily just look at the values of 5th gens. Gonna be a repeat of that since people got 16s dirt cheap.

Even the LT to SS mark-up, that's nearly all profit. The LT1 isn't that much more expensive of an engine than the i4 and the turbo. |

That's right Bassment, those extra options cost them very little. Take that dual mode vs no mode exhaust. It's like someone tell you it cost Intel more to print an i7 processor vs a i5 processor. It's how they get the customers to pay more. |

Sticker was 44k. Got it November 1st when they offered 20%. 6800 miles...they forgot to add the cost of the supercharger. We haggled until we were under 35k plus my trade. Owner found out they negotiated the price without the supercharger. I bitched when they tried to raise the price. Argued they never posted the upcharge. Bottom line got it upgraded for free.
