Is it Thursday? I'm not sure because I haven't seen a constraint report yet.

Ask the constraint question on Monday...feels kinda like trackin' a hurricane- ya see it coming just don't know how bad & how long.

Have not been reading alot so not sure if it has been said but make sure you take off the body colored engine cover it is

Body-Color Painted Engine Cover (LPO Code VYX)
Due to demand, a full constraint has been instituted on the Body-Color Painted Engine Cover (LPO Code VYX). This popular feature is a dealer installed accessory that arrives from the local ADI when the vehicle arrives at the dealership. It is strongly recommended this option be removed from orders so as not to delay placement of any orders into production. Since this is a dealer installed accessory, the part can be ordered through Chevy Accessory and installed at the dealership at a later time; however, the accessory will not appear on the invoice or window label of the vehicle.
Approximately 200 “in-system” orders had this LPO option (code: VYX). These orders have been returned to the “placed” tab on Order Workbench. It is strong suggested that the LPO Engine Cover be removed so

I will honestly murder someone if this is what delayed my car, my order was allocated and accepted way before this constraint. NJPFV9

my order has the body colored engine cover, and it is produced already... will they still hold it even tho it is produced, or will they ship it and then ship the cover at a later time?

The constraint should only affect cars that were placed after the constraint was announced. You shouldn't be affected. The engine cover ships separately anyways.

They ship the covers seperate, and as woot said it ony affects cars that were placed after the constraint.

Im glad its that way as I wanna trade my black cover for an inferno orange one.
