The 2013 UpState GM Show & Track event is officially launched! Below is a link to the poster for this year's event being held at Mike Barnard Chevrolet-Buick located in Geneva, NY. The USGMSAT event is being held Saturday, September 21st and starts at 9:00 AM. At 3:00 PM everyone wishing to run the Watkins Glen International Speedway will caravan together to the track. This may be your last time to run the track in 2013!

USGMSAT is an all General Motors event. If your car has any GM content in it you are welcome to be part of this event. In 2012 we had over 60 cars. Trophies for this year's event include first and second place for 1950 and older, 1960's, 1970's 1980's, 1990's, 2000's, and 2010 and up. There will be 1st & 2nd for all Camaros as well as 1st & 2nd for Corvettes. Finally we honor the Longest Traveled and Dealer's Choice.

This year's event will have great food, music, and generally just lots of fun. Don't forget the 50/50 raffle where proceeds go to the Tom Golisano Children’s Hospital.

To cover the cost of this event we are again holding the entrance fee to $13 per car (pre-registration) and $15 day of the event. The attached poster provides detail on how to register and pay your entrance fee. Track fee is separate, is $15 per car, and is paid at the track (Please do not send in the track fee with your registration.). This year we are offering two methods to register, by snail mail with a check, and new this year, via PayPal. See the flyer for details.

Ordering trophies this week, music is set, WG track is set, and the same people that did food last year will be there again this year! I spoke to the dealership earlier this week (in fact-bought and picked up a new 2013 Silverado 4x4 Z71) and they are extremely excited for this year's show. They are ordering in GM give a ways and said something about a couple special give a ways for first place Corvette and Camaro. Things are coming together so lets get signed up. Only 5 weeks before the show!

I'll def be there, have yet to run on Watkins Glen and everyone always says how great it is so gotta see first hand.
