BTR Stage 3 Cam
I plan on getting the Heartbeat supercharger for my 2015 1LE sometime early next year. My question is has anyone installed this cam prior to their supercharger?

Probably a little soft on the bottom end without boost. Should scream up top though. With the blower on, it's not going to make a huge amount more power vs the stage 2. The difference between a 0 overlap (stage 3) vs a -10 overlap (stage 2) cam is pretty big in the manners department though.

Agreed with OMH and would do a stage 2. More than enough cam for that blower.
10Ass, a larger cube motor really tames down a cam, so makes sense to do a stage 3 in a stroker build but in a stock cube car it would drive different.

I agree with OMH and Unreal. You should gain a little more drivability with the stage 3

I daily drive with the BTR Stage 3. It's annoying in traffic, but you get used to it. It does love power adders though.

Thanks everyone. Looks like I'll go with the stage 2. Drivability is a big factor. Any guesses on what kind of power it will make with 1-7/8 headers pre super charger?

I think you're making the right choice. The stage 2 is far from a weeney cam. A few hp on the top end isn't worth issues every where else. I'm guessing 465 to 475 on a d'jet.

I have no driving issues with the cam..
The old saying its in the tune or Tuner is dead on.. No surging, easy to get the car moving with out hardly any gas.. Hell my wife drives it more than me.. Now if your talking auto.. I don't know but manual is fine..
