You showed up a little late. Read my posts. I haven't said nothing about my car. Stock vs stock l99 won't win by much? Its time you stop posting about racing. Stick to talking about your SS . The conversation is Trans am vs the ops car.

If there is one thing this thread has taught me....

Not singling out any one individual, but we Camaro owners sure are a sensitive bunch.

Is there a throttle controller on it? May be why it feels so responsive.

I try to keep it all in perspective but I’m pretty anal about this car. Ask the wiff. I can say this about the V6 I owned. Great car. Don’t miss it a bit!

Yes, especially some of the SS guys on here.

The funny thing is when I read the Mustang forums, the GT owners don't have the same disdain towards the V6 or Ecoboost Mustang owners that the SS guys here have against the V6 Camaro owners.

Gringo, he's right. You are just as guilty as some of the V8 guys as doing this. But I always assumed it's all in good fun, because you certainly cannot be serious with some of the stuff you say.

See? That's me being a sensitive L99 guy getting his feelings hurt by that meanie Gringo!

LOL, this is exactly why I didn't want to point fingers.

I’ll admit, a lot of threads turn to a 6 v 8 ‘discussion’ but really, this IS a car forum and bashing one another’s car is as American as apple pie and the Chevrolet you drive. Even if it is the same make. All in good fun - if you can see it that way. If not, there’s a million shrinks on Google just waiting to take yer money. And you think mods are expensive?

LOL...gringo is our champion.hes not afraid to tell it the way it is.seriously guys, the camaro is a great car whether its powered by a 6, a V8,or even(gasp) a 4 cylinder turbo.i dont even use all of the 6 cylinder driving on the street, would rather have the 2LT trim, but one of my buddies thinks the sun rises and sets on his 1SS even though he drives like a little old man(he is).yet he is jealous of the seat heaters and HUD on my car.

The only thing that seems to get both parties going is when people try to bullsh#$t about the V6 hanging with a V8 down the strip. And the other is when others say the V6 isn't a real Camaro and the motor is junk compared to the V8. Both comments are usually made by people that have no clue. The v6 is a fine car that will not hang with a V8. If we all agree on that things will be just fine.
