Bridgestone Potenza Sport

Looking to do the 1le wheel size upgrade on my lt1, was waiting for a good tire price and came across this on tirerack:

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...formance%20Pkg
Thoughts? I see the 2020/2021 production date, but I shouldn't be scared off from that right?

if you put a lot of miles/year on the car, I wouldn't worry. If you only drive the car occasionally, I would probably try to get tires that are newer production date

Yeah I'm probably averaging around 14-15k per year with miles. They should be pretty much ready for replacement after two years. Now if only the m017 wheels go on sale already..

Yeah I see, but I asked to see if they have any discount codes for a quick sale, I'm ready to buy. They also have some sort of "tax sale" listed on their front page but I'm seeing tax on my order, not sure what that sale is about.

I would feel very comfortable that tire track stored those properly and they're good to go, the price is right. Theyre pretty easy to talk to about that stuff.

Look on the bright side, you managed to borrow from the government, unlike many of us who gave them a free loan

nice 1LE looking ride! those rear brake calipers need to be upgraded though, to match the rest of the car

Bent one of my MRR 716's and instead of spending $4k-5k for another set of wheels (they don't make the 716 anymore) and Conti or PS4's, I did these on my OEM ZL1 wheels. The age worried me but they look good. Gonna put a couple thousand on them and see how they hold up. But after a little break-in they seem just fine. Couldn't argue with $800.
