MBRP Axle-Back vs. NPP
Does anyone happen to know if the MBRP Axle-Back would be louder than stock NPP exhaust with the valves open?
I currently have NPP on my SS and am looking for an affordable louder sound, especially at startup and idle. I've been told the MBRP would be louder, but I don't understand why, because I thought that with the NPP wide open, I would be completely bypassing the muffler resulting in the loudest sound I can get without going catback. Any help is appreciated! |

Some of the exhaust still goes through the muffler, it doesn't redirect all the flow out the open section.

I had the MBRP axle back on my 17SS M6 for about 6 months and went back to the original NPP system due to the MBRP being so loud.

MBRP is generally one of the louder exhausts for sure.
