I learned Burger King had Transformers toys in their kid's meals so I called the one close to me and asked which Transformers they had. The guy said they had "Bumblebee and one other".

We got up to the drive through and placed an order for two kid's meals. After the order I asked "Can I get the Bumblebee toy in both kid's meals" and the lady on the other end replied "We don't have Bumblebee toys" I sat there kind of speechless for a minute because I had just called moments before and the guy I talked to said they did have them.. then she said "We have Transformers". She didn't know that Bumblebee was one of the transformers.

We got 1 Bumblebee toy and 1 other Transformer.

I was trailing behind the owner in his new Camaro while he drove his Vette home. We stopped at an intersection at a light and a young pretty blonde rolls her window down and asks me if I would take her for a ride in my new Camaro. I smiled and politely said I am sorry, no can do. When I told the owner he suggested I should have told him he would have let me drive the Vette and he would have allowed her to ride in the Camaro!

Another new Camaro owner heard a knock on his door the other morning, a complete stranger asked if it was possible to drive the car to his house so he could get a picture of it in front of his house! I never bothered to ask what the response was.

My favorite is, I was telling this guy about my car the other day, and he said "Man those Camaro's are freakin awesome, they should put them in a movie!"

I just walked away...

Yeah me too, but some people call the early builds (The ones built in '66)...'66s

My Dad said that he had a buddy with a '67 that had '66 on the title as the model year. Depend upon your point of view I guess.

My girlfriends younger brother asked me "since it's orange, are you going to put a Confederate flag on the door?"

I think he knows, the issue is that the orange car with confederate flag on the (roof actually, not door) in question is actually a Dodge Charger, not a Camaro.....

They around the car looking for a label on it forever and come to the one ahead of the door and say, "Well... It's a camaro. That's not working for me..."

There were some corvette enthusiasts walking around my dad's dealership at a corvette show we were hosting, and they're walking around going "Well, I know the ragtop has to be somewhere, I saw one driving the other day!"

I've heard a few more dumb ones, but those are in the past few days. It's amazing that people pretend to know what they're talking about, even when they could just ask questions from someone who knows (when I was around, or the other people at the dealership...).

Basically had the same thing happen to me. One of my family friends that HATES chevy saw it in my garage and ran in and said WOW!!! Thats a really nice car. What is it? A lambo?
Then i said no its acually a camaro. Then he says oh no wonder i hated it so much.

Brand snobbery just about drives me up the wall. If it is a good car it is a good car, period. It doesn't matter what badge is on it. I can understand having an affinity for certain brands over others, as I do, but I wouldn't dismiss an otherwise good car just because of the badge on the grill. What illogical nonsense.
