Supporting mods?

At what RWHP do I need to worry about changing the transmission/clutch etc if I don't plan on beating the car up?

Not beating up the car..? As in no track use? If so there are plenty with over 1000rwhp on stock clutch, tranny, and rear end.

We have put 719 rwhp through a stock ls7 clutch which is what you have. don't get me wrong the owner does not do digs or anything but it was doing just fine. as long as you don't put a sticky tire behind it you should be ok at the typical heads/ cam power level. if you want to talk more in detail about setups and limitations feel free to call us, email, or pm.

I was putting down 811 on my stock clutch as a daily driver. I got on it a little bit from time to time and it held. I decided to change it when I took it to the track for the first time and dumped it. The pedal stuck to the floor and burnt the flywheel. Not bad enough that the clutch was shot, but enough that I decided to upgrade. So if you don't intend to beat on the car, replace it when it naturally goes dead.
