Finally removed the hood and also got the torque converter bolts out today so I can remove the L99. Everything is disconnected now, all bolts...everything. But I am an idiot and the hoist wouldn't fit right with the front bumper still on, so off it comes tomorrow. Also, like an even bigger idiot, I removed the torque converter bolts before I removed the crank pulley, so hopefully it clears the radiator.
Anyhow, bumper cover has to come off anyway, as when I hit that puddle it snapped the vertical supports on the lower grill, so I already have a new lower grill ready to go. Noticed it also pulled the bottom bumper plastic over the 2 lowest mounting bolts, so now the bolts are behind the bumper. In other words, it stretched the plastic where the bolt holes are. May be able to get away with large washers. Can't get the driver's side header out because the catless off road pipe will not budge off the collector which makes it too long with the room I have to work. This whole thing has been such a PITA to do in a driveway. Man, I cannot wait to get that LS3 in. Here is the sad state she is in now. Hasn't been washed in nearly 2 months because I was too depressed to even look at her:

Window spoiler
After reading the two louver threads and seeing how expensive they were I decided to throw this $40 window spoiler I had laying in my trunk since spring.

I like the look of those. Nice little body colored mod that is fairly inexpensive.

I was a nice gentleman, I took her out to dinner tonight. She ate, then I ate. She got her car wash yesterday after a big monsoon rain storm came through Wednesday night.

Went out to start it and click-click, no start, key stuck, random stuff on then off. 7.5 yrs and 15,880 on the original battery so it was expected but I've never seen another vehicle act possessed like this one did.
Going out now to index the drivers window. In hindsight a volts gauge would've been nice.

Installed my ebay bought heritage style grille after intercoursing it up the first time and paint not adhering right; not perfect but i figured once moving nobody will notice even if it drives me crazy knowing of the imperfections.
