Just an update on this. I reached out directly to Tim from FIC in regards to the limit of FIC 660s:

"You will be in great shape with those, the 660cc are rated that at 43.5psi and your base fuel pressure is actually 58psi. At that pressure they flow 750cc/min.

With using 80% duty cycle as your max you should be able to produce around 750whp on 93 and a supercharger. So you have a nice safety window.

Thank You."

Not sure why but everyone way undersells the ZL1 fuel pump capacity. I'm around 650 whp in an auto and have yet to have any pressure drop off. I know that I'll find the limit at some point but its certainly not 50hp ago. The best option is to datalog it before spending a bunch of $$ on something that you really may not need.

Key rule if your buying fuel system components dont skimp, you will end up replacing them down the line, so i wouldnt waste your time on 660s, at minimum do 850s, i went into my build just wanting 5xx rwhp at high elevation, well now i have replaced my fuel pump, and also my 850 injectors since i ran out if fuel, and even if you never do push those items atleast you have a safety margin, and as listed above you can push the zl1 pump with a bap to 650 safely, keyword safely

Hey thanks for the reply! I understand where you are coming from for sure. But for my application as Tim from FIC stated, the 660 72lbs will be perfectly fine and have a safety margin. Heck, I really only want 530-550whp, but I got specd a 3.7 pulley on my P1x instead of my 3.9. If it's too much, ill pulley up. Should have more than enough fuel at that power level. After the kit is on, the build is over (and I really mean that lol).

You're commanding 58, and getting all 58psi?

My buddys P1sc on 12.5#s is making 750whp. He is commanding 58psi and his drops to 43psi by redline.

This is with a modified FPCM, KB BAP, and ZL1 pump. ID1300

It starts at 58 and raises a pound per pound of boost so I actually end up commanding somewhere in the 60's more often than not on a pull, but no I haven't had any drop off at 10 psi sometimes touching 11 of boost and my injectors (Deatschwerks 65lbs which reading the forums I thought would be too small) I haven't seen them over 50% DC yet. So maybe I'm the odd one out but I don't have any problems with fuel supply at 650rwhp

ZL1 Fuel Pump
Modified FPCM
Deatschwerks 65 lb Injectors
No BAP

Do you know if those injectors are 65lbs at OE 4 bar 58psi fuel pressure? Or is that the rating at 3 bar 43.5psi? It makes a big difference.

How are you raising fp based off of boost pressure? The fpcm only has high/low settings. or so i thought.

Which blower?

They are rated at a lower psi, (looks like about 35psi from what I can tell) so yeah I guess they are actually closer to 80's (85's according to the data sheet) when you look at 58psi flow. Not sure how Deatschwerks come up with their #'s looks like they are 72#'s at 43.5 psi

The CTS-V/ZL1 FPCM is boost referenced. Its a LSA with a 2.5 upper and the stock lower. Makes about 10lbs usually.

I never knew that. I just did some searching on HPTuners and it seems you're right. They have an internal regulator of some sort.

Is it electronically boost referenced, or mechanically? Is there a vacuum line running to it?

Welcome to the forums and thanks for sharing good information.

It's all electronic and its plug and play, I'm not completely sure but I think you can flash the ZL1/CTSV File into your FPCM and accomplish the same thing. Like a OS flash on HPTUNERS. I read that somewhere but I haven't researched it, I bought mine from Jannety because I didn't know that. Thanks for the Welcome! 👍
